Wildbeary Huckleberry Chutney
|
Chutney uses: with hard cheeses such as stilton or white cheddar with crackers; with cream and roasted peppers on pork or chicken; with all curry dishes as an accompaniment, on sandwiches instead of mayo or mustard, on salads, mixed with oil and cider vinegar and blue cheese with nuts, cream cheese spreads, with shipping cream and curry as a dip for seafood like shrimp, inside baked brie in puff pastry, mixed with mayo for chicken salad, and in yogurt as a dip.
Ingredients: Huckleberries, diced apples, diced zucchini, diced red bell pepper, diced onion, apple juice, apple cider vinegar, cornstarch, brown sugar, dried cranberries, huckleberry lemonade, ginger, dry mustard, salt.
