Idaho Gourmet recognizes that information privacy and security of your information is important. Our guiding principle is this manner, is to treat your information in same way would we want our own information treated.

Information Collection and Use

  • We collect the necessary information required to ship products and to validate payment methods. Credit card numbers are not normally retained beyond the credit card validation process.

  • We collect emails in order to communicate information concerning a customers order. On occasions, less than 4 times a year, we may use email to notify customers of up coming sales, specials or a company Newsletter.

    At no time do we every sell, trade or transfer your email or any other to a second party.

  • Our servers routinely records logs which can include IP addresses and time of access. This is typical of all internet servers. This information kept in a circular log file and overwritten in a short period of time of the order of a few days.

  • We use HTTP Cookies to maintain state in our shopping cart and as a convenience to our customers by preserving user preferences. This information is actually stored on the users browser via a cookie and not on our servers.

    At no time do we use second party cookies that can be used to track internet uses across websites.

    We continually take appropriate security measures to protect against security breaches and unauthorized access of our customers data. We restrict access to personal information to our trusted employees. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations.
